SCIATICA AND DRIVING

Many car seats are truly badly designed and that is why people who drive a lot are much more likely to have back problems. For example, those who spend more than half of their working day driving are three times more likely to suffer a slipped disc, says Mark Porter, of Loughborough University, who has made a special study of the subject. "And these people also have a 16 per cent higher incidence of lower back pain," he added.
Tips to make driving kinder to your back:
Make certain that your driving seat provides good support. If it doesn't, you can probably improve this by judiciously placing small cushions - or rolled up towelling - where the extra support is needed.
Ensure that you have enough room to extend your legs comfortably while your feet retain good contact with accelerator, brake and clutch pedals.
Whenever possible, break a long journey into several shorter ones. Stop every hour or so.
Make certain that all driving mirrors and all other adjustable controls are in their correct positions so that you can use these comfortably without stretching and straining your neck and spine.

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION SYMPTOMS

Most patients have a combination of two or more of these problems. They are usually first given a thorough medical history and examination to determine the extent of the problem and to hopefully pinpoint a cause. PRESCRIBED DRUGS

Taking prescribed medications with most vitamins is safe as is taking herbal complexes that are available through health food stores. However, you should always check with your doctor, your pharmacist or your naturopath. They are all trained to know what can go with what.

Weight loss

Overweight is most commonly a result of overeating and lack of exercise. Overweight and fluid retention often go together with people who have glandular problems or under-active thyroids. In such cases an iodine and phosporous deficiency may be the cause.
